AegisTrans is provided by an individual developer (the developer entity displayed on the App Store or Google Play listing, “we”). By creating an account, using the service or purchasing Pro, you accept these Terms and the AegisTrans Privacy Policy. If the providing entity changes in the future, this page will be updated with an effective date.
AegisTrans transfers text, files and screen video between devices owned by the same user. Content is end-to-end encrypted and sent peer to peer with WebRTC. Our servers handle account, device, subscription and connection-signaling data but do not store or relay message, file or screen content.
AegisTrans uses STUN without TURN relay. Direct connections can fail on symmetric NAT, CGNAT, corporate or campus networks. It is not a cloud backup, file-hosting or disaster-recovery service.
Accounts use email and support email links and password sign-in. You are responsible for your mailbox, password and signed-in devices, and must revoke lost devices promptly. You may not impersonate others, sell accounts or permit abusive use.
Free includes core encrypted P2P transfer with device, per-file and local-workspace limits. Pro may include more devices, higher local capacity, outbound screen casting, desktop extension and other features shown in the app. Availability varies by operating system, storage, filesystem and beta status.
Monthly and yearly plans auto-renew through Apple App Store or Google Play unless cancelled before the current period ends. Access normally continues through the paid period after cancellation. “Lifetime” is a one-time non-consumable purchase that remains available while AegisTrans operates and the relevant platform supports the purchase; it does not promise perpetual service or support for every future device. Localized checkout price, currency and taxes control over website reference prices.
Manage Apple subscriptions at Apple Subscriptions and Google subscriptions at Google Play Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by the original store under its policy and applicable law. Deleting an AegisTrans account does not cancel a store subscription.
Delete your account in Settings → Danger zone or use the web deletion request. We delete account, device, sign-in and subscription-linking data that we are not legally required to retain. Content already downloaded to a device must be deleted on that device.
Do not infringe rights, distribute malware, evade security controls, commit fraud, attack or disrupt the service, APIs or signaling infrastructure. We may restrict accounts to protect security, comply with law or address serious abuse.
Beta features may change and differ by platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, connectivity on every network, preview support for every file or perpetual compatibility with old app versions. Security updates may be required.
We and our licensors retain rights in the software, brand, interface and documentation. You retain rights in your content. No right to resell, redistribute or create a derivative commercial service is granted except where law expressly permits.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is. We are not liable for content loss caused by device failure, user deletion, browser cleanup, failed direct networking, store changes or operating-system changes, nor for indirect loss. This does not exclude non-waivable consumer rights or liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
